Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date

The Namo Bharat Train is currently operating on a 55-kilometre stretch between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South. With the upcoming opening of the Shatabdi Nagar Station, connectivity to the inner parts of Meerut city will significantly improve. This development will not only bring the Namo Bharat network closer to the city’s core but also benefit commuters travelling towards Hapur via the Bijli Bamba bypass. Moreover, residents of surrounding areas such as Brahmapuri, Saraswati Lok, TP Nagar, and Metro Plaza will enjoy easier and more convenient access to the rapid transit system.

Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date- Since February, trial runs of the Namo Bharat Train have been conducted from Meerut South to the Shatabdi Nagar Station, eventually extending to Modipuram, the final station on the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor. The power substation at Shatabdi Nagar became fully operational on 12th February, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply for both the Namo Bharat Train and the upcoming Meerut Metro in this section. With the power supply now active from Meerut South to Shatabdi Nagar, the only step remaining is the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety’s final approval. The Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station is expected to open in November 2025.
