Meerut Namo Bharat Stations

Meerut now has the advantage of both the Namo Bharat Train (Delhi–Meerut RRTS) and the Meerut Metro.

• The Meerut Metro network consists of 13 stations, catering to local travel within the city.
• The Namo Bharat Train (RRTS) has 4 stations in Meerut: Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram.

Currently, only Meerut South Station is operational for the Namo Bharat Train, while the remaining stations are expected to become operational soon. Here are the details for all four Meerut Namo Bharat Stations-

Meerut South Namo Bharat Station

Meerut South Namo Bharat Station is the only operational station in Meerut at present. Located on NH 34 in Bhood Baral, it is an elevated station equipped with 2 gates, 3 platforms, 6 lifts, and 8 escalators. The station also offers a parking facility, ensuring convenient access for passengers.

Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station

Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station is located on Delhi Road in Meerut. The station is an elevated structure, measuring 215 meters in length and 30 meters in width. Towards Sarai Kale Khan (Delhi), the next station is Meerut South, while towards Modipuram, the next station is Begumpul.

Begumpul Namo Bharat Station

Begumpul Namo Bharat Station is the only underground station in Meerut and the second underground station on the entire Delhi–Meerut corridor. Situated about 22 meters below ground, the station spans 246 meters in length and 24.5 meters in width. Identified by the station code A17, it will be equipped with 4 entry/exit gates, 7 lifts, and 20 escalators, ensuring smooth passenger movement and easy accessibility.

Modipuram Namo Bharat Station

Modipuram Namo Bharat Station is the last station on the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, strategically located on National Highway 58 in Modipuram, Meerut. To enhance public convenience, a foot overbridge (FOB) has been built to connect both sides of the highway, serving not only Namo Bharat commuters but also pedestrians crossing the road. On the route towards Sarai Kale Khan (Delhi), the next station after Modipuram is Begumpul Namo Bharat Station.
