Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor

The Delhi Gurugram SNB Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor is one of the three RapidX corridors planned under Phase-1 of the Rapid Rail Transport System (RRTS) by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). It will connect Delhi, Gurugram, Rewari, SNB (Shahjahanpur–Neemrana–Behror), and Alwar, significantly improving regional connectivity.

The Namo Bharat trains on this corridor are designed for a maximum speed of 180 km/h, with an operating speed of 160 km/h and an average speed of around 100 km/h, enabling travel between Delhi and Alwar in approximately 104 minutes. The project’s cost was estimated at ₹37,000 crores in 2017, equivalent to about ₹52,000 crores in 2023.

The Delhi–Gurugram–SNB–Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor will play a crucial role in enhancing connectivity across the rapidly developing regions of Haryana and Rajasthan. Spanning 196 kilometers with 22 mainline stations, this corridor will significantly improve travel for commuters between Delhi, Gurugram, and key industrial hubs such as Manesar, Bawal, and Neemrana, boosting productivity and regional mobility.

The corridor will begin from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi and pass through important locations including Munirka, Aerocity, Gurugram, Sotanala, and Rewari, ultimately reaching Alwar in Rajasthan. By linking major residential, commercial, and industrial zones, the corridor is set to transform daily commuting in the region.
