New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station and New Ashok Nagar Metro Station are directly connected through an operational Foot Over Bridge (FOB). A single-point security check has been implemented, allowing commuters to interchange between Namo Bharat (RRTS) and the Delhi Metro Blue Line without undergoing multiple security screenings
This seamless interchange has been enabled through the operational Foot Over Bridge (FOB) connecting the two stations, along with the creation of a new security checkpoint at Gate No. 2 of the Metro station. Together, these measures eliminate redundant checks and streamline passenger movement between the two networks.
The initiative focuses on licensing Property Development (PD) areas within the station premises for long-term commercial use, positioning the station as more than just a transit point—rather, a modern urban destination.
New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat Station is an elevated station on the Delhi–Meerut corridor near the Delhi–Noida border, opened on 5 January 2025. Operated by NCRTC, it offers seamless Delhi Metro connectivity, Divyangjan-friendly access, modern facilities, and frequent services towards Meerut South.
New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station and Ghaziabad RRTS Station are key elevated stations on the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, providing fast and direct connectivity for commuters. Reaching Duhai from New Ashok Nagar is straightforward, as it is a direct route with a few intermediate stations and does not require any train change. However, to reach Duhai Depot, passengers need to change the Namo Bharat train because the depot lies on a different track alignment, separate from the main passenger corridor.
Begumpul, a major commercial centre in Meerut, hosts the city’s largest underground Namo Bharat Station. Begumpul is the only underground station in Meerut that will offer facilities for both the Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro services. The station features two dedicated tracks, enabling seamless movement of both trains through a state-of-the-art signalling system.
The Modipuram Rapid Metro Station, designated with station code A21, is currently under construction and is located along National Highway 58 in Modipuram, Meerut. This elevated station, owned by the NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation), is part of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor.
Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station, code **A13**, is situated on Delhi Road, directly opposite Shopprix Mall and close to the Dainik Jagran office. The station will serve both the Namo Bharat Train and the Meerut Metro, with an interchange facility to the Delhi–Meerut Rapid Rail available here.
