Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Stations Opening Dates

The Delhi–Meerut RRTS corridor will cover a total of 16 stations, starting from Jangpura and passing through Sarai Kale Khan, Ghaziabad, Muradnagar, and Modinagar, before entering Meerut and concluding at Modipuram. Within Meerut, the corridor will run parallel to the Meerut Metro, and it will have integrated stops with the metro at four key stations—Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram—ensuring smooth connectivity between the two systems. Jungpura Namo Bharat Station (AS1) (Opening Soon)

Jungpura station is part of the upcoming Namo Bharat RRTS network and is currently listed as “Opening Soon.” This station will enhance connectivity in the Jungpura area and provide commuters with faster, high-speed travel options once operational.

Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat Station (Z00) (Opening Soon)

Sarai Kale Khan station is ready to open on 22nd February 2026. Once operational, it will serve as a major transit hub on the Delhi–Meerut corridor, providing improved connectivity to central Delhi.

New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A01)

The New Ashok Nagar station was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and opened to the public on Sunday, January 5, 2025. This station marks a critical addition to the network, providing seamless connectivity for commuters in East Delhi.

Anand Vihar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A02)

Anand Vihar station, opened on the same day as New Ashok Nagar, 5th January 2025, was also inaugurated by PM Modi. It serves as a major hub, linking passengers to multiple metro lines and regional transit networks.

Sahibabad Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A03)

Sahibabad station was inaugurated by PM Modi on 21st October 2023 and opened to the public the following day. This station forms part of the initial 17 km Sahibabad–Duhaiyya section, offering commuters a fast and efficient travel option.

Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A04)

Ghaziabad station, inaugurated on 21st October 2023 by PM Modi, plays a pivotal role in connecting the eastern suburbs with the main RRTS corridor. Its operationalisation has significantly reduced travel time for daily commuters.

Guldhar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A05)

Guldhar station was also inaugurated on 21st October 2023 by PM Modi. The station provides convenient access for residents of the Guldhar area, supporting the growing demand for rapid transit services.

Duhai Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A06)

Duhai station opened on 21st October 2023 alongside Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, and Guldhar stations. Its strategic location makes it an essential stop for commuters travelling towards Meerut.

Duhai Depot Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (AS2)

Duhai Depot station, inaugurated on 21st October 2023, serves as a key operational hub for the Namo Bharat trains, ensuring smooth maintenance and efficient scheduling along the corridor.

Murad Nagar Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A07)

Murad Nagar station was inaugurated by PM Modi via video conferencing on 7th March 2024, a Thursday. This station expands connectivity to eastern Ghaziabad, enabling faster travel options for suburban commuters.

Modinagar South Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A08)

Modinagar South station was inaugurated on 7th March 2024 via video conferencing by PM Modi. It serves the southern part of Modinagar, providing residents with high-speed transit access.

Modinagar North Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A09)

Modinagar North station was also inaugurated via video conferencing on 7th March 2024. The station ensures connectivity for northern Modinagar, completing coverage across the town.

Meerut South Namo Bharat Station Opening Date (A10)

Meerut South station was open on 18th August 2024, a Sunday. This station will act as a major hub for southern Meerut, easing commuter movement into the city.

Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station (A13) (Opening Soon)

Shatabdi Nagar Station is scheduled to open on 22 February 2026. Once operational, it will provide critical access to the Shatabdi Nagar area, significantly enhancing overall connectivity along the corridor.

Begumpul Namo Bharat Station (A17) (Opening Soon)

Begumpul Station is scheduled to open on 22 February 2026. Its addition will serve the Begumpul area, offering residents faster and more reliable access to the RRTS network.

Modipuram Namo Bharat Station (A21) (Opening Soon)

Modipuram Station is scheduled to open on 22 February 2026. It will connect the Modipuram region to the Delhi–Meerut corridor, completing the extended coverage of the RRTS network in western Meerut.
