The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) continues to strengthen passenger-centric infrastructure at Namo Bharat stations, aiming to make regional travel not just faster but significantly more comfortable and experience-driven. In line with this vision, NCRTC has invited bids for commercial development at the Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station located on the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor.
The initiative focuses on licensing Property Development (PD) areas within the station premises for long-term commercial use, positioning the station as more than just a transit point—rather, a modern urban destination.
Rooftop Restaurants, Cafés & Retail Spaces Planned
Under the proposed development, a wide range of commuter-oriented and public-friendly facilities will be introduced. These include rooftop restaurants, food outlets, cafés, hypermarkets, showrooms and various service establishments. The commercial utilisation of the PD area is expected to bring shopping, dining and lifestyle conveniences under one integrated roof.
NCRTC has invited applications through a structured e-tendering process, offering approximately 18,578 square metres of commercial space on a licence basis against a fixed rental model. This development will benefit not only daily commuters but also residents of surrounding areas by providing access to modern amenities within the station complex itself.
Commercial Development to Boost Non-Fare Revenue
Through this strategic move, NCRTC aims to enhance non-fare revenue streams while encouraging sustainable commercial activity within station precincts. The licence period for the commercial spaces has been fixed at 25 years, providing long-term stability and investment confidence for bidders.

Distribution of Commercial Spaces Across Station Levels
As per tender provisions, commercial spaces will be developed across multiple strategic zones within the station to maximise footfall and accessibility. These include:
- Ground Floor PD Area: 4,229 square metres
- Upper PD Levels (Level 1 & Level 2): 11,914 square metres
- Core-A Floors (Upper PD Level, Lower PD Level & Concourse Terrace): 2,435 square metres
This multi-level distribution allows flexibility for diverse commercial formats ranging from retail outlets to dining and service facilities.
Wide Range of Facilities to Serve Commuters and Residents
The designated commercial areas can be utilised for shops, kiosks and service-based establishments, keeping in mind the needs of both passengers and nearby residents. Proposed facilities include:
- Rooftop and fine-dining restaurants

- Retail showrooms and hypermarkets
- Pharmacies and medical facilities
- Wellness centres and service outlets
- Stores showcasing regional and local products
