Free Water Bottles for Premium Coach Passengers at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station

NCRTC is consistently launching new initiatives to make travel more convenient and comfortable for passengers. As part of this effort, premium coach passengers are now being offered a complimentary 500 ml cold water bottle while boarding or deboarding the train. This service is available at the Coca-Cola Refreshment Zone, located in the premium lounge on the platform level of Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station.

For premium class passengers, a vending machine has been installed that offers free cold water bottles. To use this facility, passengers simply need to choose a number from the available free slots, press the button on the machine, and a cold water bottle will be dispensed. A staff member is also present to guide and assist passengers in using the machine and availing the free water service. Additionally, other beverages are available at the vending machine for purchase as per passengers’ preference.

During the summer season, premium coach passengers at Ghaziabad Station are enjoying this refreshing facility and have given positive feedback about the initiative. At present, this service is available only at Ghaziabad Station, but similar refreshment zones may be introduced at other stations in the future.

It’s worth noting that travelling in the Namo Bharat premium coach has become more affordable, with only about a 20% difference between the standard and premium fares. This makes it easier and more economical for passengers to enjoy premium coaches, which offer modern features like reclining seats, sun blinds, vending machines, footrests, water bottle holders, laptop charging ports, and coat hangers.

NCRTC aims to make the Namo Bharat corridor more than just a way to travel – it’s designed to offer a premium, world-class experience. To ensure passenger comfort, all stations are equipped with modern ticketing systems, clean and air-conditioned spaces, escalators, lifts, free drinking water, washrooms, and passenger assistance services.
