Delhi Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor

The Delhi–Gurugram–SNB–Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor is one of the three high-speed RapidX corridors planned under Phase-1 of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). Designed to transform daily commuting and regional mobility, this 196 km semi-high-speed corridor will connect Delhi, Gurugram, Rewari, Shahjahanpur–Neemrana–Behror (SNB), and Alwar, creating a fast and reliable link between the National Capital Region, southern Haryana, and Rajasthan.

With 22 mainline stations, the Delhi Alwar Namo Bharat Corridor will serve major residential, commercial, and industrial hubs such as Manesar, Bawal, and Neemrana, dramatically cutting travel time and boosting economic growth. Namo Bharat trains, capable of running at a maximum speed of 180 km/h and an operating speed of 160 km/h, will enable passengers to cover the Delhi–Alwar distance in just about 104 minutes—a game-changer for commuters and businesses alike.

The project will be developed in three stages:

• Stage 1: Delhi to SNB (105 km, 16 stations)

• Stage 2: SNB to Sotanala Extension (33 km, 4 stations)

• Stage 3: SNB to Alwar Extension (58 km, 2 stations)

By linking key locations such as Sarai Kale Khan, Munirka, Aerocity, Gurugram, Rewari, and Alwar, this corridor will seamlessly integrate urban centres with emerging industrial zones, supporting balanced regional development. Construction is already progressing, with phased commissioning expected in the coming years.
