National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have rolled out a seamless ticketing integration, allowing commuters to conveniently plan and book journeys across Indian Railways and Namo Bharat through a single digital flow.
Now Book IRCTC Ticket Directly Through the Namo Bharat App
With this new system, Namo Bharat passengers can directly book Indian Railways tickets by tapping the IRCTC icon on the Namo Bharat app. Similarly, IRCTC users booking a train ticket with Delhi as their destination can access Namo Bharat tickets by opening their booking details on the IRCTC Rail Connect and selecting the NCRTC option. This enables complete end-to-end functional integration between both platforms.
The unified interface significantly simplifies the booking process by minimizing repeated data entry. After confirming an IRCTC e-ticket, the NCRTC ticket option appears on the PNR confirmation page and is also accessible via train booking history. This initiative supports the Government of India’s “One India – One Ticket” vision, aimed at making inter-modal travel smoother and more accessible.
For example, a commuter travelling from Meerut to Delhi by Namo Bharat can now book their onward long-distance train ticket through the same integrated system. Upon reaching Anand Vihar Namo Bharat Station—which is seamlessly connected to Anand Vihar Railway Station—the passenger can directly board their train, ensuring a faster and more convenient journey.
Recently, NCRTC also launched a similar integration with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), enabling passengers to book Namo Bharat and Delhi Metro tickets across each other’s mobile applications, further strengthening multi-modal connectivity in the region.
Through these efforts, NCRTC continues to build a unified, efficient, and commuter-centric transport ecosystem for Delhi-NCR—digitally enabled, environmentally conscious, and designed around everyday passenger needs. Alongside digital integration, physical integration at Namo Bharat stations is underway to ensure smooth interchanges with railways, metro networks, and bus terminals.
At present, 55 km of the 82-km Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor—from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South—is operational. As the corridor expands, such integrations are expected to play a vital role in reducing congestion, saving travel time, and promoting sustainable mobility.
