The route features two underground stations: Anand Vihar in Delhi and Begumpul in Meerut, while all remaining stations are elevated. Designed for high-speed regional connectivity, the train operates at an average speed of 100 kmph, with an operational speed of 160 kmph and a maximum speed of 180 kmph. To ensure convenience and reduce wait times, Namo Bharat trains are available every 15 minutes along this corridor.
Namo Bharat Train Route Delhi to Meerut
The Namo Bharat Train Route Delhi to Meerut start from Delhi to Meerut begins at Jangpura (AS1) in Delhi, where construction is currently in progress and the station is expected to open by August 2025. The train then stops at Sarai Kale Khan (Zoo), an elevated station also under construction and expected to open by July 2025. The next two stations, New Ashok Nagar (A01) and Anand Vihar (A02), are completed and scheduled to open on 5th January 2025, with Anand Vihar being an underground station.
After exiting Delhi, the train enters Ghaziabad, stopping at Sahibabad (A03), Ghaziabad (A04), Guldhar (A05), Duhai (A06), and Duhai Depot (AS2). All of these stations are elevated (except Duhai Depot, which is at-grade) and have already operational since 20th October 2023.
Continuing further into Ghaziabad District, the train halts at Murad Nagar (A07), Modinagar South (A08), and Modinagar North (A09), which were opened to the public on 7th March 2024.
Entering Meerut, the train first reaches Meerut South (A10), an elevated station that was opened on 18th August 2024, followed by Shatabdi Nagar (A13), which is under construction with an expected launch in July 2025. The route then proceeds to Begumpul (A17), an underground station currently under construction, and finally reaches the terminal station at Modipuram (A21), an elevated station also scheduled for completion by July 2025.
