Delhi Meerut Namo Bharat Train Time Change Update

Namo Bharat Train Services to Start Early on October 12 for UPPCS Preliminary Exam. In view of the UPPCS (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) Preliminary Examination scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 2025, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced a change in the schedule of Namo Bharat train services to facilitate candidates and commuters.

On this day, train services between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South will begin two hours earlier than usual — from 6:00 AM instead of 8:00 AM. The services will continue as usual until 10:00 PM, ensuring that candidates can conveniently travel to and from their examination centres.

According to NCRTC officials, this special arrangement has been made to ensure that no commuter, especially those appearing for the UPPCS exam, faces travel difficulties on the exam day. Additional trains will also be on standby to accommodate the expected increase in ridership.

Known for its speed, comfort, and punctuality, the Namo Bharat train is expected to serve as a reliable and efficient mode of travel for thousands of UPPCS aspirants commuting between Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad, Modinagar, and Meerut.

NCRTC has also advised passengers to plan their journeys, arrive at stations early, and make use of help desks and guidance counters that will be set up for passenger assistance. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring smooth and hassle-free transportation during major public examinations and events.
