New Ashok Nagar to Modinagar RRTS Route
In the Delhi–Meerut direction, the first RRTS station in Modinagar is Modinagar South, followed by Modinagar North.
Modinagar South Namo Bharat Station (station code: A08) is an elevated Namo Bharat Station on the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. Officially inaugurated on 7th March 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing from Kolkata, this station plays a crucial role in serving the southern part of Modinagar, complementing the Modinagar North station.
Located along NH-34 on Delhi–Meerut Road in Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh (PIN 201204), the station is owned and operated by NCRTC and enhances regional connectivity through the high-speed Namo Bharat train network.
In the Delhi–Meerut direction, the first RRTS station in Modinagar is Modinagar South, followed by Modinagar North.
Modinagar has two operational Namo Bharat stations, while Meerut South is the only active one in Meerut. The upcoming Modipuram Station will be the final stop of the Delhi–Meerut corridor. Key halts from Modinagar to Modipuram include Modinagar North, Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, and Begumpul. Namo Bharat skips nearby Meerut Metro stations as they are not designated RRTS stops.
Modinagar currently has two operational Namo Bharat stations—Modinagar South and Modinagar North—while Meerut has four stations, with only Meerut South operational for now. Once the full corridor opens, the new Begumpul Station, the largest underground station on the route, will play a key role.
The Modinagar to Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat route will connect Modinagar South and Modinagar North to Meerut’s upcoming Shatabdi Nagar Station, with Meerut South as the key intermediate stop. Although Partapur and Rithani lie on the same corridor, Namo Bharat trains will not halt there, as these stations are exclusive to the Meerut Metro. Once fully operational, this stretch will offer faster and smoother travel between Modinagar and Meerut.
Travel between Modinagar North and Modinagar South is easy and affordable, with fares of ₹20 (Standard) and ₹25 (Premium). Trains run from 06:15:30 AM to 10:44:30 PM on weekdays and 08:15:30 AM to 10:44 PM on Sundays, ensuring convenient connectivity all week
Namo Bharat trains connect Modinagar with Meerut South in just 5–9 minutes, with fares starting at ₹30. Modinagar North offers a direct 8.3 km ride completed in 5 minutes, while Modinagar South covers 12.2 km in 9 minutes with one stop at Modinagar North.
Modinagar has two Namo Bharat stations—one in the south and the other in the north—both of which were opened to the public on 7 March 2024. With these stations now operational, travelling to Delhi, Meerut, and within Modinagar itself has become significantly easier, faster, and more convenient for daily commuters.
The Namo Bharat connectivity between Modinagar and Murad Nagar offers fast and seamless travel. From Modinagar North, the train reaches Murad Nagar in 8 minutes over 10.8 km, with Modinagar South as the only intermediate stop. From Modinagar South, Murad Nagar is the very next station, covering 6.8 km in just 4 minutes, making it one of the quickest stretches on the corridor.
Modinagar to Duhai Depot on the Namo Bharat Corridor offers a fast and smooth travel experience, with routes available from both Modinagar North and Modinagar South. Trains halt at intermediate stations including Modinagar South, Muradnagar, and Duhai, depending on the boarding point. Since Duhai Depot is an at-grade station, passengers are required to change trains at the main Duhai Station by switching platforms to reach the depot.
The Namo Bharat train offers fast connectivity between Modinagar and Duhai, covering the Modinagar North–Duhai stretch (16.9 km) in 13 minutes with stops at Modinagar South and Muradnagar. From Modinagar South, the journey to Duhai spans 12.9 km and takes just 9 minutes, with Muradnagar as the only intermediate station. This route ensures quick, efficient, and comfortable travel for daily commuters.
