The Jangpura Namo Bharat Station is a key entry point for South Delhi on the Delhi–Meerut RRTS corridor. With direct access from Mathura Road and fast connectivity to Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, Modinagar, and Meerut, it will greatly improve regional travel. Jangpura also includes major operational facilities, such as the stabling yard and the central OCC, making it an important hub in the Namo Bharat network.
The Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor stretches 82.15 km with 16 stations in total. Of these, four are in Delhi — Jangpura, Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, and Anand Vihar. Anand Vihar is the only underground station, while the others are elevated
The tender specifies a completion period of seven months from the commencement date. The bid security amount has been set at ₹19.89 lakh, with validity until August 12, 2026. The tender process began on October 17, and the last date for bid submission is November 15.
Jangpura will also host key operational infrastructure, including a stabling yard for train maintenance, an Operational Control Centre (OCC) for real-time monitoring and management of all three RRTS corridors — Delhi–Meerut, Delhi–Gurugram–SNB, and Delhi–Panipat — as well as office complexes and residential towers for staff and operations.
